Learning Journey
Through this course, we learned not only about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we were also involved in a lot of critical thinking, teamwork, compassion, and many more! Here are some of our reflections and thoughts after the course:
Hi, my name is Jaslyn. I'm a 10 year old born in Hong Kong, but recently I moved to Sydney, Australia. I met Melody, Una and Felix during the Success Buddies course and recently started SDGs course. My journey of learning with Melody has been brilliant and enjoyable! Throughout Sustainable Development Goals, I learnt so much about the world around me. There is so many poor, helpless and hungry people in the world, but the SDGs prove that someone is trying to do something! Having this group class allowed everyone to share their thoughts and perspectives about the SDGs, which was a truly interesting and informative experience for me to open my eyes to other things and people in the world. I also mastered the use of many vocabulary words during discussions. I really enjoyed the course because it was fun and interactive - never disappointing my standard of awesomeness!
Hi, my name is Felix. I am eleven years old, I was born and raised in Canada. My history is all from China and I would love to be a great person to everyone. My hero is my family and I cherish them.
I love the SDGs course because I love to express a talk about things in my life, it was a wonderful year with the SDGs and I never stopped thinking of this class. If it was a day with class then there will be a way for me to memorize a way to be happy and never look down on myself!
SDG class has always been a place of peace, and so that is why I love this class!
Hello, I'm Una, a Taiwanese girl from Taipei living with my family. I did not know what was happening around the world when I was playing, or having fun with my brother. But out there in some countries, there might be wars, refugees, or other serious crises. One day, my mom told me about these lessons with Melody regarding Sustainable Developement Goals (SDGs), so at that very moment, my adventure of learning about SDGs began! At first, the topic was fresh to me as if I was new to the world, but after a few courses, my heart was stuck to the topic real tight since it was interesting and a magnificent thing to know about news around the world, the meaning of each goal, and what can we do to change the world... Now, after my little introduction, Who knows? Maybe your curiosity is already piqued!
